"It is important for emerging markets to change their focus to Intra-regionally tourism to overcome the decrease in Europe tourists. #wtmlat"

"Hotel sector expected to achieve healthy growth globally in the next 5 years due to technology."

"Smartphones becoming important sales channels and customer service tools"

"Growth categories to watch: Medical tourism to favor destinations such as India and Thailand."

"Growth categories to watch: High speed trains and private accomodations such as AirBnB and Homelidays."

"Shopping tourism: an activity driven mostly by the BRIC with US being the top destination in 2012 and France as a luxury location."

"Today travellers expect higher level of customization of services and real time answers."

"Brazil is expected to record strong growth in arrivals during the 2012-2017 period. Argentina, US and Uruguay were the biggest contributors."

"Where are brazilian trabelling to? US, Argentina, Uruguay and France are the main countries in this order."

"Big sports evenst may not indicate a real growth of visitors as people may avoid the country fearing crowds."

"Brazil is the 5th country on Social Media use, that is why it is so important for tourism in the country to know how to use it."
